Investigating architecture as a sensory and intellectual system, examining how space, material, light, and the senses shape human perception and experience. We believe in a strong intersection between theory and practice to frame buildings as active environments that generate meaning, memory, and embodied knowledge. Understanding that building is a profound and intentional endeavour, we are deliberate and discursive. Our work involves creation of spaces and ideas.

Team
Founder
Neena Singh Zutshi Ph.D.
Having lived and worked across boundaries of culture and ethnicity, my architectural practice, academic leadership, and research engages with modern interpretation of ancient architectures rooted in the Indian subcontinent.
I examine the intersection of architecture and intellectual traditions in my book, Samraṅgasūtradhāra: Decoding the Historical Architectural Treatise (Routledge, 2025).
Currently living in New York City, I work with designing spaces firmly enmeshed in the present while learning from the past with a focus on historical accuracy of architecture and interiors, teaching, and research.
Living Heritage Architectural Consultant
Tejaswini Rai Ph.D.
Having grown up within the continuity of India's living built traditions, my research and consultancy engages with architectures that are inhabited, evolving, and actively dialogue with the communities that shaped them.
I examine the relationship between intangible cultural knowledge and its physical expression in built form, exploring how heritage functions not as a frozen monument, but as a living system of meaning, memory, and material practice.
Currently based in Ontario, Canada, I work at the intersection of heritage documentation, architectural research, and cultural continuity, with a focus on structures that carry living knowledge across generations.
Work
The focus remains on creating meaningful spaces, irrespective of scale and scope of the project.
