A 1960’s apartment in the city is infused with maximalism. The wallpaper enlarges a narrow dining room and allows the diner to escape to the hills!

Renovate

The apartment renovation featured a stairwell with no natural light. A "grayscale" client focusing on retaining the old (the handrail) led to a textured wall and reflective risers.

Rejuvenate

A medical facility reinventing itself to cater to an evolved patient profile is aided with inserting colour, texture and reflective vaulted ceiling in a circulation only corridor.

A studio and retail space for an edgy jewellery brand is executed in a machinist material palette with non-rectilinear form compositions.

The global client’s aspirations for a contemporary but rooted language is negotiated with a white local marble contrasted with chrome to enlarge a tight bathroom.

Invigorate

The client is a keen traveller and history buff and the space has a high ceiling, so a shoe retail store derives inspiration from Cordoba’s “forest of columns” and the double arch. A floor to ceiling mirror on the far wall results in a visual illusion by replicating columns.
